HIS KINGDOM ON EARTH

"This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be Your name, Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one...’” Matthew 6:9-13

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,” Luke 4:18​

The Lord desires Heaven to be lived out here on this earth. He brought Heaven to us in the form of Christ. It may be a simple view, but He and His ministry are the example of Heaven on earth. He came for the rich and poor. He came to heal and to bring freedom. He came to give life through His service to us. His example sets the bar for our lives. The inheritance we gain when we receive Him as Savior is the ministry He had here on earth. We must continue to live in unity as believers to fulfill the destiny the church is made for, which is to reveal Him. We should experience Heaven here through service to others, ministry to others, and our expression of faith as we share the gospel with not only our tongues but our lives. If we lift Him up, He will draw all men to Himself. What greater expression of Heaven on earth than to see people drawn to Christ just as He drew us to Himself. Drawing others to join us in our experience is the true reward of Heaven here on this earth.
